The ROOFGREEN UK sedum blanket consists of a coconut fibre matting, a layer of substrate and various sedum species. These pre-cultivated blankets provide 85% coverage instantly and are both lightweight and Insulating.
The sedum has water storing leaves and can withstand harsh environments and extreme weather conditions. By combining creepers and ground covering plants the blankets alternate between growing and blooming.
ROOFGREEN UK vegetation blankets require very little maintenance once installed. Designed as a lightweight solution, ROOFGREEN UK vegetation blankets can be provided from 35kg per m2, making them suitable for use on metal, timber and plywood decks as well as concrete bases.
